AMERICA’S WATCHDOG LOOKING FORWARD TO DEBATE
Congressman Dingell shares solutions with substance
Dearborn – Congressman John Dingell (MI-15) will speak live to his constituents tonight in a debate with his Republican opponent, Rob Steele at Monroe County Community College at 6:30 PM EST in Monroe, Michigan.
“I’m excited and ready to go,” said Dingell. “I look forward to the questions from constituents regarding any and all issues. I am glad they will be providing input in this debate.”
The constituents of Michigan’s 15th Congressional District know John Dingell, and know that he fights for us. We know that John Dingell will continue to forge solutions for creating jobs in Michigan, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and fighting for tax cuts for the middle class instead of millionaires.
At this point, we know what Rob Steele stands against–the middle class, progress, and moving Michigan forward. We know little about what he stands for, especially since he backpedaled this week on his plans to privatize Social Security. Maybe tonight, he will give us a sense of what Recovery projects he’d eliminate, what programs he’d cut, and provide 15th District constituents with a detailed plan instead of just ideological platitudes.
