DINGELL CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES NEW RADIO AD “Dangerous”

Dearborn — Dingell for Congress has launched a new radio ad, “Dangerous.”  The ad reveals that Rob Steele is desperately attacking John Dingell because there are some things he’d rather not tell you, so he is trying to change the subject away from issues that matter to people.  The ad will air on general market radio throughout the 15th District of Michigan.

The ad explains why Rob Steele’s right wing, Sarah Palin-endorsed agenda is not in line with Michigan’s working families.

It points out that while Rob Steele attacks Dingell on spending, he fails to point out to voters that he supports adding nearly seven hundred billion dollars to the deficit by providing tax cuts to the rich, which results in hundreds of billions more in borrowing from China.  The ad also provides independent evidence that Steele’s ideas are wrong for Michigan families.  An AARP official calls the Medicare proposal contained in the budget Steele promotes “a very dangerous idea” because it will force seniors into the private insurance market and abolish Medicare as we know it.  And while Steele makes much of his medical credentials as a doctor, his misstatements about pre-existing conditions earned him a forceful rebuke by Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, which issued a press release correcting Steele and setting the record straight.  In other words, it’s not just John Dingell who thinks the Steele-Palin agenda is wrong; independent observers are also opposed to Rob Steele’s plans for working families.

John Dingell is the champion of working families and America’s Watchdog.  He protects the people he serves from ‘dangerous’ ideas that we know don’t work and will have a negative impact on Michigan’s future.
