DINGELL IS 5 OUT OF 5 IN NEWSPAPER ENDORSEMENTS
AnnArbor.com Endorses Dingell
Dearborn — This week, Ann Arbor.com endorsed John Dingell for Michigan’s 15th District. Following the endorsements of the Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, Toledo Blade, and the Monroe Evening News, Ann Arbor.com endorsed John Dingell declaring that Dingell’s “accomplishments and his dedication are epic.”
The endorsement from the Ann Arbor.com comes after Dingell’s participation in the Washtenaw candidate forum where his opponent was a no-show, and after Dingell’s successful debate against his Republican opponent in Monroe. Dingell has delivered for Michigan’s working families and vowed to protect Social Security and Medicare from those who want to turn the programs over to Wall Street and big insurance companies, like Dingell’s Republican opponent. The Ann Arbor.com does not find that “Steele has made the case for replacing [Dingell]”.
The endorsement continues its criticism of Dingell’s opponent saying his website and his announcements are “conspicuous for their lack of specifics.” They acknowledge his deliberate restrain, but point out that “if you listen to his interviews on conservative talk radio shows, he spouts Tea Party rhetoric with the best of them.”
A week from today, on Tuesday, November 2nd, John Dingell will be re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives to serve the people of Michigan’s 15th Congressional District because his constituency knows Dingell Delivers for Michigan. John Dingell has always and will continue fighting for the people he serves.
